Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities:
Blackbird Restaurant: Savour island dining at its best! Breakfast and lunch are buffet style, while evening meals are served a la carte and super tasty, created with fresh produce direct from the market in Belize City. The ‘High Tide Bar’ on the beach offers a laid-back atmosphere with seating inside & out, a happy hour from 5 to 6pm all with breath-taking views of the Caribbean Sea. Blackbird Poolside Bar has a snack menu available during the day between dining hours.

Deluxe Rooms: Surrounded by green foliage and blossoms, offering privacy and intimacy at the southern end of the resort. Rooms are a short stroll from the beach and ocean views with spacious bedrooms and a king size bed, plus a separate lounge area. Bathroom & shower, private balcony with hammock, coffee maker, mini fridge, ceiling fans and A/C throughout.

Superior Rooms: Located on the southern side of the resort near a beautiful stretch of beach, in full view of the coral reef. Rooms have a choice of either a King size bed or 2 Queen Beds, and all have a linked lounge area with seats and a table. Bathroom & shower, private balcony with hammock, coffee maker, mini fridge, ceiling fans and A/C throughout.

Standard Rooms: Cottage style cabanas, located on the beachfront. The smallest room type, featuring simple rustic deco with modern facilities, while still enjoying comfort and privacy. Choice of two double beds, two queen beds, or one king bed, rooms are located just a short step from the ocean and the resort pool. Bathroom & shower, private balcony with hammock, ceiling fans and A/C throughout.

Duplex & triplex rooms with similar facilities are also available and are ideal for families & groups.

Honeymoon Suite also available, located directly on the beach with a private jacuzzi, plus a separate kitchen & seating area.

The dive centre is located directly opposite reception on a jetty. They have a compressor room and a range of dive equipment to rent. 4 roomy dive boats, all with ample shaded space, cylinder racks, ladders and powerful engines to get you to your next dive spot.

A full range of PADI courses are available. More than 70 spectacular Belize dive and snorkel sites all within a 15-minute boat ride from the resort. A weekly day trip to dive the Blue Hole is offered, including a BBQ lunch at Half Moon Caye. Please note, you must be advanced open water qualified or equivalent to dive the Blue Hole and trips will only run with minimum numbers.

The dive team are attentive & friendly, with huge knowledge of the dive sites and are very safety conscious.

The dive sites at Blackbird Caye Resort are considered some of the best in the Western Caribbean, many of which offer great drift dives, making it a perfect place to scuba dive. Visibility ranges between 30 and 40 meters and temperatures are warm year-round. Dive sites include local coral gardens, caves and caverns, steep and gently sloping walls, overhangs and the famous Blue Hole. Turneffe Atoll is the only Caribbean Atoll made up of dozens of mangrove islands which are the juvenile nurseries for coral reefs.
