Solmar V
TRADITIONAL LIVEABOARD
A traditional, purpose-built dive boat, 34m / 112ft long with wood interiors and a sturdy steel hull. Solmar V can accommodate up to 20 divers. Choose from one of 10 spacious, ensuite staterooms. Superior cabins are in the middle of the boat and slightly larger than the Standard cabins. Standard cabins include the same amenities as the Superior cabins but are slightly smaller and located from the middle of the boat forward. Each cabin features a/c with individual controls, bathroom, sink and shower, TV/DVD player, super comfy mattresses and non-allergenic down alternative pillows and duvets. Bathroom and dive deck towels are provided with basic toiletries.
Solmar V operates two 4-person cages, which hook to the swim platform, making it very easy and safe to get in and out of the cages, even in rough weather. The team pioneered submersible cages at Guadalupe and operate a 3-person submersible cage to 30 feet. With only 20 passengers and three cages, this enables them to rotate 10 guests in and out every hour all day long!

Steel Hull construction, A/C lounge with Audio & TV, Indoor lounge, Outdoor dining, Shaded diving deck, Sun deck, A/C cabins, En-suite bathrooms, Warm water showers, Cabin Towels, Complimentary Toiletries, Deck Towels, Daily housekeeping, Satellite phone, Library.
Food & Beverage:
3 gourmet meals/day, snacks between meals, beverages including soft drinks, mixed drinks, beer and wine with dinner, Snacks served all day, Beer, wine, Spirits/cocktails available. Local, Western and Vegetarian options served in a Buffet style.
Diving Services:
Diving Package with air, tanks, weights & weight belt. Nitrox available (pay locally), Diving courses, DIN adaptors, Camera room/station, Charging stations, Camera rinse tank, Non-diver friendly, Rental Gear available (BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, Dive Computer, Mask & Snorkel, Fins – payable onboard). You will need to pre-book rental gear if required.
Your diving commences either from the main vessel or panga, depending on location and nature of the dive site. Water entry points are conveniently located on both sides of the vessel. The dive deck is spacious with a large camera preparation area with camera table, rinse tanks and plenty of storage. Nitrox is available for certified divers (pay onboard).
The saloon has an entertainment system and comfortable seating where guests can relax between dives. Dining on board is excellent. A variety of meals are freshly prepared on board to suit all tastes. Snacks are available all day!

Twin compressors with cascade storage for fast filling provide divers with an endless air supply and quick fills between dives.
Onboard voltage is 110 AC, with several 220 AC charging stations inside and outside. On the spacious dive deck, you will find a large camera table, 2 camera rinse tanks and an air gun.
Navigation, Safety & Communication:
The Solmar V is fitted with side scanning sonar and multiple radar systems. Life jackets, Life rafts, Fire system, Satellite Telephone, Oxygen and First Aid are also available. Crew is trained in first aid, Fire alarms, Fire extinguishers, First aid kit, Oxygen, Life jackets, EPIRB distress system, Radio VHF/DSC/SSB, Satellite & mobile phones, GPS, Depth sounder, Life rafts, Radar, Fish-finder, Emergency flares, Bilge pump alarm, Search light.
Fully equipped diving deck, Nitrox available.
