Bohol, Philippines dive holidays
Magic Oceans Dive Resort
A little gem nestled on the green and tranquil island of Bohol
Magic Oceans Resort offers a get away from it all holiday in a divers paradise.
Beautifully situated on the coast surrounded by a steep rocky wall, jungle and a tropical fruit nursery. The whole area is lush green, with palm trees, hibiscus, jasmine and an abundance of tropical flowers.
Divers are treated to muck diving, walls covered with healthy corals, sandy slopes, small caves and mangroves.
Magic Oceans Dive Resort is also ideally combined with other resorts including its sister resort, Magic Island Dive Resort, in Moalboal, Cebu.
Hotel Services/Facilities: Relax by the pool or on the beach, at the onsite spa or enjoy the weekly yoga. Larger selection of tours arranged locally, including sightseeing, adventure and nature tours. Families are well catered for with a whole range of child friendly activities.
Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: The restaurant offers a wide range of Filipino dishes as well as Asian and Western style food. The bar serves cocktails with or without alcohol as well as a selection of beers, fresh fruit juices and more.
Transfers: Guests usually fly into Cebu (Mactan-Cebu International Airport) and travel by car to Cebu ferry port (about 40 minutes) before boarding the ferry to Bohol. The ferry time is 2 hours and from the ferry port in Tagbilaran to Magic Oceans it is about a 2 hour drive.
It is also possible to fly into Bohol Panglao Airport (about two hours’ drive from resort).
The Magic Oceans Resort has 16 Bungalows.
All bungalows include a king size bed and a day bed which can be used as a sofa or an extra bed, a fully stocked mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, WiFi, safe, energy saving air-conditioning and balcony. Bathrooms are spacious with towels, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer. All rooms have additional towels for the pool and free unlimited mineral water.
The dive centre can comfortably accommodate 35 divers, with 3 showers and 5 large rinse tanks for all your dive gear and cameras. There is a dedicated camera area with electricity, good light and airguns. 12ltr/80ft³ aluminium tanks are supplied with both DIN and Int. connections, suitable for both air and Nitrox (extra charge).
Diving is from one of three boats. The two larger boats come fully equipped with a dry area, fresh water rinse tanks and an enclosed toilet. All three offer tea, coffee, water and fresh local fruit after each dive.
For groups of 8 or more, there is also the possibility to travel on the largest of the fleet – Magic Oceans 1 – when going between the other Magic Resorts. That way you can fit in an extra dive day! Ask us for details on the other resorts.
Anda has 16kms of diving pleasure to offer plus a sandbank, Lamanok Island and several diving day trips. Diving options include muck diving, walls covered with healthy corals, sandy slopes, small caves, mangroves and sandy bottoms full of life. The marine life includes Pygmy seahorses, Nudibranchs, schools of fish, a passing whale shark and even an occasional manta.
