There’s a wealth of stunning reefs, walls and spectacular wrecks to explore, as well as specialist shark dives at well-known Shark Wall and The Arena. Grand Bahama
Thrilling encounters with Tiger Sharks are the main attraction for divers heading to Freeport on Grand Bahama Island. Trips to Tiger Beach are available from November to April and offer a true once in a lifetime experience to see these majestic sharks up close. Grand Bahama also offers divers and snorkellers some amazing wrecks and plenty of stunning wall and reef dives, as well as other shark diving year-round.
Bimini
Beautiful Bimini is famous for its Atlantic Spotted Dolphins. Swimming with wild dolphins is a magical experience that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Bimini is also a fantastic place to see a variety of different ray species. Groups of Southern Stingrays are often found in shallow water here making encounters a breeze. And if diving with Great Hammerhead Sharks is on your bucket list, then don’t miss out on Bimini. These exhilarating dives offer world class encounters that are popular from November to April.
Andros
The island of Andros’ geography and its porous limestone foundation mean a wide variety of breathtaking dive sites. Shallow coral gardens and the spectacular Andros Barrier Reef – the world’s third largest – trail the island’s east coast. A few minutes offshore, the Tongue of the Ocean plunges 6,000 feet into an underwater canyon. Explore intricate cave systems and an incredible 200 blue holes.
