Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort & Spa
A luxury dive resort on Bunaken Island, occupying an enviable location in the heart of the Bunaken National Marine Park.
Built on a lush, green hillside, overlooking the mangroves on Liang Beach, Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort & Spa offers a truly deluxe diving and snorkelling experience in the incredible Bunaken National Marine Park.
All resort elements have been carefully designed to cater for guests who are seeking a unique resort experience, without any compromise on quality and service.
Hotel Services/Facilities: Freeform, freshwater infinity pool with sea views; Long House reception/lounge with tea, coffee and snacks; two-room spa offering a full range of massages and specialist treatments; on-site water-makers so all water within the resort is drinkable. There are also water dispensers in each cottage and public areas, as well as a laundry service.
Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: Panoramic restaurant offering gourmet Asian and western cuisine, with roof-top views of the resort and out to sea. Guests can also relax in a multi-level, chill-out cocktail bar, as well as the Long House reception/lounge with tea, coffee and snacks.
Transfers: From Manado Airport to Bunaken Oasis by road and boat with an approximate transfer time of one hour.
10 luxury cottages traditionally-styled with indoor modern bathrooms and balcony to enjoy spectacular sea views. All furniture is custom-made for the resort by Bunaken carpenters using sustainably-sourced Indonesian hardwood.
The two-bedroom cottage is ideal for families with younger children with a larger bathroom and longer balcony.
For families with older children there is a 2-storey cottage ‘double-decker’, which offers two full-sized luxury cottages with their own access, bathroom and balcony.
The top storey follows the standard layout of the luxury cottages while the lower storey is configured with twin beds. Also suitable for friends holidaying together.
All cottages have air-conditioning, modern bathroom, organic toiletries, coffee maker, hot and cold water dispenser, Bluetooth speaker, Samsung tablet, mini-fridge, safe, robes and slippers, and a large balcony with stunning mainland and sea views.
A completely tailored diving service with the emphasis on space and comfort for divers; the dive boats have been designed to this effect. All boats have fresh water showers, toilets and catering facilities. The dive guides are qualified to Dive Master or above and no more than four guests allocated to a dive guide. The fleet of new dive boats includes an extremely spacious 17.5m fibreglass catamaran together with four traditional wooden boats.
Numbers are limited to eight on the catamaran and four on each wooden boat with six divers on the larger wooden boats guaranteeing no overcrowding either on the boat or at the dive sites. The PADI dive centre has been designed with the photographer in mind and has a large camera room with plenty of shelf space and charging points and a classroom with large 4K television ideal for photography groups. A full range of PADI courses are offered and the Centre stocks an extensive range of rental diving equipment from leading manufacturers.
Free Nitrox is offered for Nitrox-qualified divers.
Please note: Diving with knives and gloves is not permitted in the Bunaken National Marine Park.
