LIVEABOARD HOLIDAYS TO COSTA RICA
The jewel in the crown of the Undersea Hunter fleet, and home to the DeepSee submersible, MV Argo is a 40 metre Cocos Islands liveaboard with nine large staterooms and accommodates up to 18 divers. Redesigned in 2008, MV Argo is the result of many years of knowledge gained from operating vessels around Cocos for many years, assembled into a singular, dive expedition cruiser.
Liveaboard Services/Facilities: On the main deck is an air-conditioned lounge with bar and audio / video entertainment centre. On the upper is a large study where you can review photographs of the day’s diving. Then watch the sun go down from the sun deck whilst enjoying a refreshing beer with your BBQ.
Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: All meals, snacks and beer are included; food is a 4-star affair in the spacious dining room.
Included: Ground transportation San Jose – Puntarenas and return; all meals, including beer; Dive-master service; Seven full days of action-packed diving with three dives per day (incl. nitrox fills, tanks and weights).
Not included: National Park Fee: Total $490 $70 per day, on a 10-night trip, Total $560 $70 per day, on a 11-night trip there are 8 diving days spent at the Cocos Island Marine Conservation Area.

All 9 staterooms are individually air-conditioned with marble ensuite bathrooms, personal desk with satellite connection and flat screen TVs with DVD player.

SAFETY: Two 25-person life rafts. Complete boat, crew and passenger safety gear. Firefighting system throughout vessel. Extensive first aid kit. 20 personal diver locator systems.
EQUIPMENT: Scuba Compressors LP 280 Nitrox Membrane System 2 Bauer HP Compressors H13-E3, Scuba Tanks 30 tanks 80 cu.ft. Aluminum 100 cu.ft. Steel tanks (Advanced Reservations Required), Technical Diving Full oxygen, nitrox and rebreather service, passengers must bring their own rebreathers.
NAVIGATION: 3 GPS (Global Positioning Systems) 2 Radars (48 mile) 2 recording fathometers Radio Direction Finder SIMRAD Auto pilot.

MISCELLANEOUS: Deep Sea Submersible 3 Person, one atmosphere, 1500 ft rated submersible, ABS approved and certified with Schilling Orion manipulator/robotic arm.
DECK MACHINERY: Crane: 15 ton, Telescopic marine crane w/50 ft. reach Stern A-Frame: 10 long tons, 5 X 1000 lb. Hydraulic winches Anchor winch:5000 lb. pull winch with 800 ft. 7/8 cable.
Diving onboard Argo takes place from three heavy duty 24 foot fibreglass skiffs, each fitted with a T-Roof and rigid bow covers to provide stability in open water. Kitting up takes place from the large dive deck where you will find ample storage space for dive gear and camera equipment. Three dives a day are planned within the Cocos National Park at depths of 18-30 metres or more. Each dive group is accompanied by an experienced Divemaster who provides a full briefing before each dive.
Nitrox is free of charge with the opportunity during the 36 hour journey to Cocos to complete your Nitrox course onboard if you are not yet qualified. Argo offers a full Oxygen and Rebreather service, including Trimix with helium and a range of bailout and Inspiration and Evolution cylinders for hire.
