Siladen Resort & Spa
This award-winning, boutique dive resort offers accommodation in elegantly furnished villas.
Siladen Resort & Spa is located in the heart of the Bunaken National Marine Park, world renowned for its marine biodiversity.
The resort is situated on the western side of the lush tropical island of Pulau Siladen on a 600m fine white-sand coral beach – the only one in the area. The volcano of Manado Tua provides an impressive backdrop for this beautiful resort. Guests will enjoy the magnificent sunsets and tranquil surroundings.
Hotel Services/Facilities: Siladen Resort & Spa has a lovely saltwater swimming pool with complimentary towels, volleyball and billiards, a library, and a small boutique.
The Resort Spa offers a range of body treatments and aromatherapy massage in five massage rooms and two open-air pavilions. All-natural products are used and treatments are based on local herbal knowledge.
Other activities include yoga and marine presentations in the Tree House, fabulous sunset cruises, rafting (water levels allowing) and trekking, which can be enjoyed on mainland Sulawesi. The Resort staff will happily organise excursions for you.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.
Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: The main restaurant overlooks the beach and pool, and offers a fine combination of International cuisine and local delicacies. An experienced chef serves a wide variety of local Indonesian and Asian dishes in combination with Gourmet European and Mediterranean recipes. Barbecues on the beach are a regular event in summer. Private beach dinners are available on request. Vegetarians and vegans can also be catered for – please let us know your requirements.
The attractive Lounge and Beach Bar inside the main restaurant offer a wide choice of imported wines, spirits and enticing cocktails, as well as a selection of soft drinks.
Transfers: From Manado Airport to Siladen Resort & Spa by road and then by boat. Total transfer time is around 1 hour.

Two-bedroom Family Beach View Villa with two master bedrooms and two bathrooms with a shared living area – ideal for families or two couples.
All villas are equipped with mini-bar, telephone, flatscreen TVs, tea & coffee-making facilities, safety deposit box, and one bottle of complimentary water per person daily.
The PADI 5 Star dive centre operates exclusively for guests staying at the Resort. Running a professional and small, friendly outfit they place great emphasis on the protection of the National Marine Park and its environment.
All dives are boat dives and are scheduled with two tank dives in the morning and a single tank in the afternoon. The multi-lingual centre operates with a maximum of 4 divers to each guide and offers an introductory dive to non-divers free of charge if staying 7 nights or more. Snorkelling is also popular here.
Divers can access over 50 dive sites all within close proximity to the Resort, as well as special trips on request to Lembeh, Bangka and Popo. Night dives are offered every night including dusk Mandarin dives. Nitrox is available at a supplement and a full range of dive courses is available.
There are no shore dive sites available at Siladen Resort; the diving is operated from four traditional Indonesian style vessels with a maximum of 8 to 12 guests per boat.
Bunaken National Marine Park is most famed for its dramatic walls and its rich variety of life — in particular, its macro life. Every site has a plethora of critters including pygmy seahorses, ornate ghost pipefish, hairy squat lobsters, and blue ringed octopus.
Although not well known for larger species, the open waters are home to a number of pelagic species. Both white tip and black tip reef sharks are resident on many dive sites, and white spotted eagle rays often make an appearance.
Another thing Bunaken is famous for, is its healthy turtle population. Bunaken Island, in particular, has many turtles living here year round — it is not uncommon to see 10+ on a single dive.
Please note: It is compulsory to dive with a dive computer here. Each diver must have their own computer. Diving with knives and gloves is not permitted in the Bunaken National Marine Park.
