Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort
Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort is one of the Red Sea’s most southerly beach resorts, with it’s own private beach and a healthy house reef, making for perfect diving and snorkelling adventures.
World-class diving sites, including Fury Shoals, Dolphin Reef, Zabargad Island, Rocky Island and St. John’s Reefs are also tantalisingly close by.
Hotel Services/Facilities: Two freshwater swimming pools and a kids pool, kids club (seasonal) and playground area. The resort also has a gift shop, internet access, money exchange facility and a laundry service. Orca Dive Club is conveniently located onsite.
Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: Soft All Inclusive is offered to all guests (excludes alcoholic drinks) with a main buffet restaurant overlooking the beach, serving an all-inclusive open buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Beach restaurant is situated directly on the beachfront and serves light open buffet lunches and a variety of snacks throughout the day.
Three bars to choose from; Open Air Disco Bar for night owls on the beachfront, a Pool Bar offering a selection of drinks and snacks, and a Lobby Bar for enjoying a light cocktail with friends and family.
A daily entertainment programme includes beach and pool games and a football pitch. Evening entertainment is provided on selected nights.
128 dome-shaped rooms, all with air-conditioning, private balcony or terrace, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, ensuite shower & WC, hairdryer, mini bar and safety deposit box.
Inter-connecting rooms are available for families.
Orca Dive Club run the on-site dive centre at Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort. They offer house reef diving from their newly-constructed jetty and boat diving from Hamata Port jetty, just ten minutes transfer from the centre. Divers with fewer than 30 dives logged must be guided. Orca Dive Club is a PADI and CMAS centre, offering a range of courses from beginner level to technical diving courses including Nitrox and Draeger Rebreather. Free Nitrox is available (32%) for qualified Nitrox divers.
Please note it is compulsory at Orca Dive Club to dive with a dive computer. Divers with fewer than 30 logged dives must be guided. Guided dives cost €5 per person per dive.
From January 2020 the local Environmental Fee is applicable to all trips with Orca Divers. Fees are paid locally and are currently: Boat and speed boat (divers & snorkellers): €5 per person, per day.
