Diving Truk is something of a big wish for lots of divers. It takes a bit of planning and high-end coordination. Which is why the Diverse Travel team found it so pleasing when guest, John Hannah, sent them this warming feedback from his recent trip there.
“I had high expectations from the trip and all were exceeded. All went remarkably smoothly considering the sheer number of transfers and flights. Transfers and ground arrangements were smooth and efficient.
The liveaboard, MV Odyssey, surpassed all expectations. Spacious, clean and well-appointed complete with an amazing range of souvenir clothing. The food on board was freshly prepared and varied. A well-stocked bar offered welcome sundowners, always with a smile.
The Odyssey dive crew and guides were experts on the wrecks as well as being patient and helpful with kitting up and lots of fun both above and below the water without compromising our safety.
Expertise, knowledge and briefings from Mike the skipper were amazing. Detailed, nicely illustrated and supported with historical information and often with a video introduction.
The dive sites and sights were beyond anything I could have imagined. Blowing bubble rings and the banter with the guides all added to it.
Would I book with Diverse Travel again. A resounding Yes and Yes.”
