MV Mermaid I is a comfortable 28 metre liveaboard sleeping a maximum of 15 guests in 8 air-conditioned cabins.
With itineraries in Komodo and Raja Ampat varying between 9 and 11 nights, 11 night trips to the Banda Sea or Lembeh and the amazing 15-night bio-diversity specials, MV Mermaid I offers an exciting range of diving itineraries. Whether you want to play with mantas, search for pygmy seahorses, see walls of hammerhead sharks and bask in the glory of huge whale sharks, this is where you can start to tick those boxes. Then there are the Komodo Dragons on land as well.
Liveaboard Services / Facilities: The purpose built dive deck and wide stern dive platform with two exit ladders and fresh water showers are a diver’s dream. There are 6 camera rinse tanks, two outside decks, one shaded with outside seating and the fabulous sundeck with sunshade plus cushioned sun beds.
Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: Delicious Thai, Indonesian and western meals are served in the ‘Sawasdee Restaurant’ with panoramic windows to take in the stunning views. Relax in the saloon with TV/DVD and music centre or select from a full range of marine life books.
Included: Transfers from/to airport at the free of charge points, all meals & snacks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soft drinks and drinking water, tanks, weights, weight belts and diving with experienced Dive masters/Instructors.
Not Included: Transfers outside of the free of charge zones, National park/port fees. Fuel Surcharges if applicable. Nitrox fills, rental equipment, onboard courses, dive insurance (Mandatory), massages, souvenirs, alcoholic beverages.
Choose from 4 deluxe cabins (double or twin beds) 1 master state room (king size bed) and 1 single cabin All are above deck with ensuite bathrooms, refrigerator and panoramic sea view windows. There are also 2 budget cabins (double/twin beds) with ensuite below deck.
